Custom Web Features

Website for The Found Alphabet

The ecommerce website for The Found Alphabet is selling a very unique product — custom letter art creations, and doing so required a very custom ecommerce experience. From the homepage, customers can enter the word, phrase, or letters they would like to use in their custom letter art creation. Hit go, and you're taken to a very slick tool that gives you options for mat, frame, and photo color, in addition to giving you photo options for each letter.

Piedmont Environmental Alliance Website

As one of our oldest web clients, we have actually built 3 different incarnations of the PEA website. The site was originally built with Joomla. After struggling to meet the needs of PEA's donor management and membership tracking needs, we rebuilt the site with Drupal and CiviCRM in 2008. The site was rethemed just before the Earth Day Fair in 2010, adding a fresh, modern look to PEA's already functional site.

Website for the Durham Exchange

The website that Kilpatrick Design created for Durham's John O'Daniel Exchange is attractive, highly informational, and extremely useful to the Durham community and Exchange members. The site features a calendar of community events, descriptions and videos of the members, and an extensive members only area for internal communications. The Durham Exchange is an affordable place for small businesses and nonprofits to have office space. For members that do not have a website of their own, the Exchange site gives them a platform from which to speak on the web.

Christine Rucker Photography Website

Kilpatrick Design created the website for Winston-Salem photographer Christine Rucker. The site displays Christine's photos in an easy-to-use slideshow format. The images are large, and can be viewed even larger for users with large monitors (just click an image). Christine's clients can log in and view the images and movies from their personal sessions.

TightLines Designs Website

TightLines Designs provides small house plans to North Carolina clients like the City of Raleigh Community Development, Wake County Habitat for Humanity, Chatham County Habitat for Humanity, the City of Greensboro, and more.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston Salem Website

We designed and built the website for the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston Salem once logo development was complete. The site not only has resources for the public, with a large community calendar and information about the church and community, but it also has extensive resources for members and staff of the church. The UU website is a wonderful example of how technology can facilitate community discussions and awareness.
