Authoring Action presents REACH

One of our long-standing clients, Authoring Action (formerly the Winston-Salem Youth Arts Institute) is putting on an event next week in Winston-Salem.

WHAT: REACH is an evocative, live stage and film production featuring original films and written works of poetry, monologues and editorials by teen participants in Authoring Action's 2010 Summer Institute. Through spoken word, interwoven with music, movement and three short films, the REACH ensemble delivers a tapestry of life experience; a collective insight that calls the community to compassion, justice and care. 

WHEN: Opens Thursday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m. with additional engagements on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Green Street United Methodist Church, 639 South Green Street, Winston-Salem, NC

ADMISSION: Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. The event is open to the public.
