Kilpatrick Design welcomes Wendy Lam

In November, Wendy Lam joined the Kilpatrick Design team as a senior designer. We are so excited to have her on board! She has hit the ground running, and is enriching the design work we offer to our clients.

Hospice & Palliative CareCenter website goes live

The new website for Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, based in Winston-Salem, has gone live. The site has been completely reorganized and redesigned. The website administrators at Hospice can now easily manage content — including adding new pages, events, news, and blog posts. Stakeholders within the organization can manage the content that is specific to their team, and all edits and additions go through a moderation process for approval before changes are published to the web.

Celebrating the launch of The Found Alphabet

Please visit the beautiful new website of The Found Alphabet, a company that offers customized letter art creations. What is letter art? Letter art uses photos of nature, architecture and other found images that look like letters — put together to form a word or phrase.

Job Opening: Senior Designer

Kilpatrick Design, Inc. is seeking a senior designer to join our creative team in Winston-Salem, NC. This person will work closely with the art director, technical director, and clients to create beautiful and refined brands, websites, and printed collateral. The individual will be a strategic thinker and able to articulate strategies and solutions to the team and to clients.

Applicants must be expert designers at print and web, and have experience seeing projects through from pitch to launch.

New website for Donate Life North Carolina

We are thrilled to unveil the new website and online donor registry application for Donate Life NC. The visual design of the new site builds on an established brand, but offers a fresh feel. The content has been completely reorganized and rewritten to be more accessible and informative, and the online donor registration process is new and improved.

Website launched for The Sophia Institute

The Sophia Institute is based in Charleston, South Carolina. Kilpatrick Design has recently completed the redesign and implementation of the new website for the organization. This site utilized CiviCRM — the consitituent relationship management software that we have implemented for many of our nonprofit clients. Their customized CiviCRM implementation allows participants to register for the many retreats and seminars that the Institute offers.

Graduate. It pays.

The new website for Graduate. It pays. is live! This program helps to connect volunteers with students in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System who need mentoring. Sadly, 26% of 9th graders in WS/FC schools will not graduate. Graduate. It pays. is working to change that. In their first three years, 9 out of 10 students matched with a caring adult advanced to the next grade or graduated.

New site launched for the Natural Learning Initiative

In addition to launching the RiverRun International Film Festival website this morning, Kilpatrick Design has just launched the new website for the Natural Learning Initiative — an organization that is part of the College of Design at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. The site features a Green Desk, which is a resource for childcare providers, administrators, and professionals seeking the latest information to create high quality, healthy outdoor environments for young children.

The RiverRun festival website is live

The line up of films for the 2011 RiverRun International Film Festival was announced last night at the Launch party. Today we put the festival version of the RiverRun website live, so everyone can see the schedule, venues, films, and events for this year's festival. Buy your tickets early! And watch the site for Twitter and blog updates leading up to — and during — this year's festival!
